Scoliosis and Spine Clinic teamed up with Viv from Back to Mind Counselling, a Registered counsellor and life coach who works with people living with scoliosis and with chronic back pain.  Living with scoliosis can feel overwhelming at times - Viv has also been on a journey with her own scoliosis which through practice and patience has learned how to navigate the twists and turns. She's here to help guide you towards the same. This is open to anyone; whether you have just been diagnosed with scoliosis, are wearing a brace, awaiting surgery, or perhaps have been living with scoliosis for some time. In this session Viv talks about the emotional side of living with scoliosis, the common challenges, emotions, and reactions we can experience in our scoliosis journey, how the stories our mind creates around our scoliosis can be unhelpful and how focusing on what we can control can be hugely empowering.  Please find below the recording. https://us06web.zoom.us/rec/share/OKogXxSnwu972c1lHVQsXtBE6vb7Yo8vweM3Ql8Q4UWCP1Y7kEjcVm5lYGH3p8QT.xJW4GAo_gP8kR5WU Passcode: k$6*8J5T SSC :)
